The Torron Group's mission is to actively work with community members to create a development plan that meets the needs of the community while addressing environmental and other concerns.
The staff of the Torron Group has over 35 years of civil engineering and land development experience involving residential and commercial land development projects in State College and the surrounding Centre County area.
Our innovative and visionary designs for development will take into consideration all aspects of the land that is being considered for improvement. Our staff and associates have a great deal of experience in navigating the complex municipal planning and approval process.
The Torron Group's commitment to "Developing Excellence" extends back to its founder Thomas F. Songer, II. Tom is a 1970 graduate of Penn State with a BS in Civil Engineering. He previously owned PennTerra Engineering and has been involved in residential and commercial land development projects in central Pennsylvania for more than 35 years. During that time, he has worked diligently to create and contribute to the ambiance and vitality of communities, neighborhoods, and commercial developments that have made the State College area one of the best regions of the country in which to live and do business. In addition, Tom and his employees have volunteered their time and expertise to serve many local non-profit organizations.
